Blessings, blessings for Thanksgiving

It seems that I have started winter a bit early and gone into hibernation over the past several weeks. Did you miss me? I sure missed you! The wonderful thing about that, is that even though it outwardly seems like there's no activity, in fact, there's life and growth happening under ground.
This past six weeks, I have managed to bring on a digital marketing team and launched my new social channels:

Please like, comment, and share when you have a chance!

Also, I have written a book since I last reached out to you. Can you believe it? I have written a 21-Day Devotional called Divine Design for Choosing Your Mate. It was a wonderful detour from my usual poetry writing, but I believe an inspired calling. A friend called me about two months ago and mentioned how her boyfriend was treating her and we started talking about that age-old question, "Where should I compromise for the relationship and what is compromising too much?" I started reflecting on my own journey and the Biblical wisdom that helped me make decisions myself. The book practically wrote itself and I plan to self-publish it in time for Valentine's Day.

And speaking of that, in the time since I last wrote to you, I also booked not one, but three poetry readings! I will be reading my poetry this Saturday at the Coffee, Create, Connect artists' collective @ La Rochelle French Bakery in North Hollywood, at the Valley Spiritual Plug Holiday Marketplace in Chatsworth, CA on December 14 and With Love Market & Cafe in Los Angeles on February 8. The theme I have selected for the February reading is "love," my favorite theme, and I will certainly be reading from my new book along with relevant poetry. And the best part? I plan to broadcast my readings via Facebook Live so you can be right there virtually if you don't want to miss the cool vibes we'll definitely be sending out.

And lastly, I just want to thank you for joining me on this journey. I'm sharing my poem "Blessings, blessings" in the hope that you will be blessed today, this blessed Thanksgiving. With everything going on and the busy-ness of life, we can always slow down and allow the blessings seeking us to catch and overwhelm us with a sweet sense of well-being and peace.

Blessings to you today and every day!

Sonya
